Project Description

Project activities include: (1) implementing public engagement strategies and delivering public campaigns on issues related to civic and democratic space; (2) identifying the training needs of civil society organizations (CSOs) journalists and human rights defenders (HRDs) regarding the methodologies and principles of gender-responsive human rights reporting advocacy and communication techniques; and (3) providing CSOs with technical support related to gender-responsive security and protection.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) the socio-political and legal environment is more favourable to respecting human rights; and (2) strengthened the effectiveness of civil society organizations (CSOs) that defend human rights human rights defenders and journalists in protecting themselves and asserting their rights.
