Project Description
This project aims to enhance Canada’s international assistance commitment and the effectiveness of development results in Peru and Bolivia. The services include: (1) providing advice analysis and technical support to government counterparts in priority areas for Canada; (2) providing technical assistance and capacity building for local partners national and local authorities and strategic and ad hoc interventions to consolidate the results of initiatives implemented by Canada; and (3) providing administrative and logistical services to support the monitoring and implementation of Canadian programming. The expertise provided by the FSSP seeks to strengthen political dialogue expand knowledge on local development issues and support the development of innovative development strategies.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) improved efficiency and gender sensitivity of program delivery throughout its result-based programming lifecycle by key stakeholders; (2) improved relevance of Canada’s programming in addressing local development and humanitarian plans and priorities for the most marginalized and vulnerable. This includes women and girls indigenous people and migrants in all their diversity; and (3) increased contribution and influence of development actors to advance poverty reduction human rights democratic governance inclusive economic growth and climate action.
