Project Description

This project contributes to preventing and managing deadly conflict by providing stakeholders and decision-makers with early information and in-depth analysis they need to take preventative action. This project pays particular attention to women and other historically excluded groups from political participation in different stages of conflict and conflict resolution highlighting poorly understood gender dynamics in conflict settings. Project activities include: (1) producing 26 new publications with gender-responsive conflict analysis and recommendations (2) producing 50 short and rapid analyses on evolving conflicts or emerging crises (3) publishing 60 multimedia products on complex conflict dynamics and (4) convening 6 policy discussions on contexts of subjects of high-interest.
