Project Description

This project funds Middlebury College for the Vienna Centre for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation to conduct a workshop of experts and beneficiaries. They aim to formulate evidence-based recommendations for regulators to update practices policies and regulatory frameworks. This is to mitigate exploitable vulnerabilities in emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in the nuclear supply chain posing emerging threats to global nuclear security.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include an increased collaboration by beneficiaries to integrate recommendations to update practices policies and regulatory frameworks to mitigate against emerging threats to nuclear security posed by exploitable vulnerabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies in the nuclear supply chain.
