Project Description
This initiative aims to address gender inequalities particularly around unpaid care work and barriers to the knowledge skills and conditions necessary for women’s meaningful participation in the economy.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) improved women’s agency to exercise decisions regarding their economic empowerment through redistribution of unpaid care work and capacity development; (2) increased participation of women in secure rewarding dignified and safe economic opportunities particularly agribusiness and green enterprises; and (3) improved recognition by stakeholders of women's social and economic rights and equality in paid and unpaid care work and women's representation at decision-making levels.
