Project Description
This project supports ODI's platform on Advancing Learning and Innovation on Gender Norms (ALIGN). ALIGN’s digital platform offers a range of resources and opportunities for knowledge sharing and innovation. This includes a ‘resource hub’ of key knowledge and innovative thinking on gender norms and norm change. It also includes ‘curated areas’ of expert thinking to guide users through a range of relevant themes and topics on gender norms. The platform also invites user participation and discussions and other audiovisual means of learning including webinars and podcasts. The project also provides broader support as part of a strategic partnership that focuses on key emerging challenges and issues in development cooperation. This is articulated in Canada's Feminist International Assistance Policy. It seeks to test ideas and provide new solutions in selected high-impact policy and research areas. They can inform and strengthen Global Affairs Canada's policy response and deliver the commitments made under its policy. The project supports the Research and Knowledge Facility's (RKF) ultimate outcome: "improved design and implementation of policies and programs to contribute to the achievement of gender equality the empowerment of women and girls and the goals outlined in Agenda 2030 in developing countries".
