Project Description

This project funds the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to establish or strengthen national regulatory infrastructure for nuclear security and radiation safety in 28 countries in the Indo-Pacific region.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) strengthened effectiveness of beneficiary countries to safely and securely manage radioactive materials throughout their lifespan; and (2) strengthened national and regional legal regulatory and policy instruments and networks.
