Project Description

This project seeks to address major cyber security threats posed by North Korea that aim to gain material and financial resources for its weapons of mass destruction programs.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) convened a 1-day symposium for beneficiaries in the Indo-Pacific region to provide training on the proliferation risks posed by illicit North Korean information technology labourers; and (2) conducted 4 regional workshops over 2-days for private sector beneficiaries in the Americas Europe Africa the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific. This is to promote the adoption of cybersecurity protocols and governance frameworks designed to prevent exploitation by North Korea.
