Project Description

This project managed by the Stop TB Partnership which is housed within the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is contributing to global efforts to end tuberculosis (TB) by stimulating supporting and demonstrating novel and innovative approaches to expand early detection of TB accessing quality treatment and improving TB treatment outcomes in poor and vulnerable populations with limited access to health care in developing countries. Selected initiatives with potential for scale-up are receiving fast-track short-term funding from TB REACH to demonstrate effectiveness and produce the necessary evidence required for them to be integrated and scaled-up within National Strategic Plans and subsequent funding applications to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS Tuberculosis and Malaria the largest international donor for TB programming. Stop TB is providing support for documentation and ensure that successful approaches and lessons learned are disseminated.
