Project Description

This project seeks to support and strengthen the universalization and implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Project activities include: (1) facilitating exchanges between ATT officeholders and civil society; (2) delivering briefings and side events to diplomats and civil society on ATT meetings and key treaty implementation issues; (3) developing a civil society sponsorship program for the 10th ATT Conference of States Parties in August 2024; and (4) publishing 3 “ATT Monitor” reports (one annually from 2024 to 2026).

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) enhanced engagement and cooperation of ATT States Parties and stakeholders in the ATT Conference of States Parties process resulting in more effective implementation of the Treaty; and (2) enhanced engagement by ATT States Parties and stakeholders in implementing the Treaty.
