Royal Canadian Mounted Police Technical Support- 2023 to 2025

This project provides technical support from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to strengthen international law enforcement competencies and capacities to prevent detect and respond to security incidents involving nuclear or radiological materials. Project activities include: (1) providing technical and operational expertise guidance and training at multilateral workshops exercises and technical meetings focused on responding to nuclear and radiological security incidents; and (2) providing RCMP staffing support to the International Criminal Police Organization’s chemical biological radiological nuclear and explosives and vulnerable targets program.

The expected outcome of this project includes improved ability of law enforcement agencies to prevent detect and respond to security incidents involving nuclear or radiological materials.
