Physical Protection Security upgrades and related training - Malaysia and Thailand

This project seeks to strengthen radiological security in Southeast Asia. It supports physical protection system upgrades at select medical facilities in Malaysia and Thailand. Project activities include: (1) providing physical protection upgrades at medical facilities in Malaysia and Thailand; and (2) providing sustainability training on radiological source security.

The expected outcome of this project includes the strengthened capacity of Malaysia and Thailand to ensure the proper and sustainable security of at-risk radioactive sources in conformity with international guidance.
