With GAC’s support the Canadian Red Cross is deploying humanitarian experts to respond to the emergency operations worldwide of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Project activities include: (1) supporting deployment of both Canadian and non-Canadian humanitarian experts; and (2) providing pre- and post- deployment services to technical experts.

Expected Results

The expected intermediate outcome of this project is enhanced delivery of gender-sensitive humanitarian assistance by technical experts in humanitarian operations.
