Project Description

This project supports INTERPOL to better aid its member countries in assessing and responding to biological threats by providing strategic and operational criminal intelligence. Project activities include: (1) developing an internal biological incident analytical platform called “BioTracker” to identify and assess biological threats; (2) engaging member countries; and (3) developing an e-learning module for BioTracker.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) increased data-sharing and collaboration amongst INTERPOL member countries and the global security and law enforcement community in relation to biological threats and incidents; and (2) improved performance of the global law enforcement community to conduct biological incident threat assessments and investigations.
