Project Description

This project supports the government of Haiti’s response to recovery plan following the earthquake that struck Haiti’s Southern peninsula in August 2021. The projects financed through Canadian contributions to the UNDP Trust Fund aim to repair and rebuild social infrastructures to strengthen social protection and resilience of vulnerable communities in affected areas.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) improved resilience of infrastructure in education sector in areas affected by disaster; and (2) increased delivery of essential services in education in area affected by the disaster.
