Supporting the Arms Trade Treaty Secretariat’s Sponsorship Programme

This project aims to strengthen the universalization and national implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) by supporting the ATT Secretariat’s Sponsorship Programme. Project activities include: (1) enabling the participation of eligible States in Conferences of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty and in informal preparatory meetings to facilitate the Conference deliberations and outcome.

The expected outcomes of this project include increased participation and representation of experts from States Parties or select countries seeking to become a State Party in Arms Trade Treaty discourse and decision-making meetings.
